Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Teradata database solutions to meet the business needs.
• Analyze current systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support data extraction and reporting.
• Work collaboratively with data analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all applications and databases.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues within the Teradata environment.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and best practices for data management.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in Teradata and data warehousing technologies.
• Provide training and support to team members as needed.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with Teradata and related tools.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and database design.
• Proficient in SQL and experience with ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Experience

• 2+ years of experience with Teradata development and database management.
• Experience with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend) is a plus.
• Familiarity with other database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) is advantageous.
• Experience in a business intelligence environment is preferred.
