Overview TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecom Engineering Architect IV to lead the design, development, and strategic implementation of next-generation telecom networks and infrastructure systems. This senior technical role will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) across multi-vendor and multi-technology environments, including 5G, fiber optics, transport/IP core, RAN, and hyperscaler interconnects. The Architect IV will work closely with internal engineering teams, executive stakeholders, and external partners to drive scalable, resilient, and future-proof network solutions that align with business goals and industry standards. Responsibilities Architecture & Design: * Lead the design of end-to-end telecom network architecture encompassing RAN, Core, Transport, IP/MPLS, and Optical/Fiber infrastructure. * Develop high-level and detailed design documents, topology diagrams, capacity plans, and technology roadmaps. * Evaluate emerging technologies (Open RAN, ORAN, NFV/SDN, 5G SA/NSA, Edge computing) and recommend their adoption and integration. ️ Strategy & Innovation: * Define long-term network architecture strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency. * Guide enterprise network transformation efforts in alignment with digital infrastructure and hyperscaler/cloud strategies. * Participate in industry forums, technology trials, and vendor evaluations. Technical Leadership & Standards: * Establish engineering standards, design best practices, and configuration templates. * Mentor junior engineers and architects across wireless, IP, and fiber domains. * Interface with internal leadership and customer engineering teams on network evolution planning. Project Oversight & Support: * Provide technical oversight for major deployment programs (macro, DAS, small cell, FTTH, data center interconnect). * Support bid responses, solution architecture, and scope development for RFPs and SOWs. * Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Project Management, and Field Ops teams during lifecycle delivery. Qualifications * 10+ years of telecom engineering experience, with 3+ years in a senior architect or principal engineering role * Hands-on experience required with Samsung 5G RAN (standalone), USM (configuration, CM, and PN data). * Must have working knowledge of NetScout tools (TrueCall, NVA, NSE, NG1). * Field testing tool experience needed: Accuver, Xcal, Xcap, XTEL, and XTEL - CAD; capability to analyze layer 3 logs is essential. * Proven expertise in network design across wireless (LTE/5G), IP/MPLS, DWDM, Ethernet, and fiber architectures * Strong working knowledge of technologies including: * 5G SA/NSA, ORAN, vRAN * IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS) * Fiber optics & optical transport systems (CWDM/DWDM, OTDR) * Carrier Ethernet, VPNs, and data center fabric * Experience working with OEM platforms such as Ericsson, Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, Adtran, Fujitsu, or similar * Ability to write technical standards, high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documents * Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills * Preferred Certifications & Education: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field * Certifications preferred: CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, MEF-CECP, CWNA/CWNP, PMP (for project visibility) * Familiarity with tools such as Visio, NetCracker, iBwave, AutoCAD, Wireshark, and SNMP-based NMS platforms Join Our Veteran-Friendly Team: Are you a veteran or a veteran spouse with expertise in telecommunications?
