Summary:

• CEI’s Fortune 30 Client in Media and Telecommunications is seeking an experienced Telecom Construction Specialist to add to their team!
• This role will be supporting the construction team in the Western New England region by acting as a Project Coordinator responsible for maintenance and monitoring of construction project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.

Job at a glance:

• 60% of the role will be in the office working within the company’s database, building out jobs and documentation.
• The remaining 40% will be spent in the field on job sites conducting surveys and working directly with front line employees.
• Long term contract with potential for extension and/or permanent placement
• $35/hr W2 + optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)

Responsibilities:

• Ensures the execution of overhead/underground construction duties.
• Investigates and monitors accurate record keeping concerning project start, milestone dates, production logs, material costs, and labor expenditures.
• Supports Specialists and leadership team with coordination of projects.
• Generates logs and reports on construction, projects, materials, and expenditures.
• Monitors performance of construction crew to established goals and objectives.
• Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business support, technical, or production staff who perform tasks in the same function.

Required Skills:

• Previous telecommunications construction management/coordination
• CRM experience, preferably Salesforce but not required
• GIS/Mapping experience is a plus
