Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary:
This position is available for TechZone students who possess advanced troubleshooting and leadership skills. Applicants must have a proven track record of mentorship for other students, and display advanced problem solving and critical thinking.
The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced TechZone student worker. Please Note: Candidates must be able to work between May 20th-August 12th.
Requirements:
* Manage the general activity of the TechZone
* Carry out duties as assigned at the TechZone
* Mentor and train new student workers at the TechZone
* Take an active role in creating documentation for tier-0 and tier-1 support issues at the TechZone
* Provide first level help desk and walk up support to provide support of all UNIT supported systems.
* Consult with students, faculty, and staff on complex issue regarding Villanova technology and systems.
* Assist with computer problems and provide diagnosis and resolutions.
* Log calls utilizing TeamDynamix (TDX) ticket system.
Additional Information: Physical Demands Summary:
Light lifting, up to 50lbs
Wage Rate: $15/hr
