They provide technical advice and service to ensure the highest feasible operational readiness of all technology equipment, devices, and software. The position requires a general understanding of PC hardware as well as Windows and Apple operating systems, excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills, timeliness and accuracy in completing requested work, and the ability to work respectfully, collaboratively, and efficiently with staff. Qualifications The minimum qualifications for this position include: An associates degree or higher in a technology field; or at least sixty (60) semester credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education; (official transcript required to validate education) OR Three or more years of work experience working with Information Technology in a professional capacity. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to frequently: * View a computer screen to interact with software * Listen and comprehend instructions * Effective and appropriate communication through verbal and written means * Sit and focus on tasks for extended periods while using a keyboard and other electronic devices This position occasionally assists with technology services tasks that require the ability to: * Crawl under tables * Climb stairs * Climb ladders * Lift up to 40 pounds Other Requirements: A valid driver's license is required. Work Schedule: 12-month position working 225 days per year. Typical schedule is 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday, with some variation due to projects or response to issues. Reports to Director of Technology Services Work Location: This position works from the Technology Services Department with primary responsibilities at an assigned school or school(s) within the district. Open until filled: Review of applications and interviews will be scheduled as appropriate as applications are received and selection of a candidate may occur at any time. This position is for the 2024-2025 school year.
