Job Description: VCF Automation is the product for customers to manage and consume VCF as a self-serviceable Private Cloud with a rich set of Cloud services, including Virtual Machines, Kubernetes, Network services, and more. VMware @ Broadcom is looking for a seasoned senior product manager responsible for driving VCF Automation and Cloud services. You will be driving VCF Automation and Cloud Services product strategy and roadmap working alongside customers, identifying use cases, and delivering business case and roadmap. Responsibilities: * Define the VCF Automation and Cloud Services strategy and roadmap, identify new market opportunities working alongside customers, partners and diverse stakeholders, and assist in defining and executing the go to market strategy. * Define product requirements and develop PRDs and User Experience workflows for new VCF Automation and Cloud Services capabilities. * Work closely with VCF Automation and Cloud Services engineering teams to drive product execution. * Build go-to-market collaterals in collaboration with marketing teams. * Engage and evangelize with sales teams and customers to drive VCF product sales and deployments. * Help build and drive early customer engagements. * Speak at conferences, vMUGs and related forums. Required Skills: * Deep knowledge of private and public and public cloud infrastructure, including Compute, Storage and Networking. * Good understanding of cloud services, including Virtual Machine service, Kubernetes service, Network service and more. * Experience bringing new technology products and services to market. * Experience engaging with customers globally to synthesize feature specifications. * Technical depth that lets you understand and earn the respect of exceptional engineers. * Ability to work in and drive cross functional teams, including development and UX, to deliver the product to market. * Capable presenter who is comfortable leading face to face customer and partner meetings and presenting to small-medium size audiences. * Speaking experience in industry forums and conferences. * Ability to handle a number of concurrent activities with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Education/Experience: * BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field plus 12 years of related experience OR * MBA or MS in Computer Science or Engineering related field plus 10 years of related experience. * * This is an on-site office-based position in Palo Alto CA. Must have legal authorization to work in the US Additional Job Description: Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $141,000 - $225,000 This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
