Morgan Stanley established a new Futures Brokerage business with location in Beijing. The entity trades in commodity futures products as listed in the China exchanges.
As infrastructure engineer of the Futures Company, the role reports directly to the infrastructure head of the Company, and responsible for the overall IT infrastructure engineering including infrastructure maintenance, database admin, database monitoring, exchange connectivity, data center environment monitoring, security control, electricity supply and asset management to ensure the security and stable operation of the Company’s IT infrastructure;
Establish standards, operational runbook of infrastructure emergency response, business continuity planning, disaster recovery and organize regular drills to ensure business resiliency;
Abide to relevant laws, regulations, provisions from CSRC, the AOA of the company and related policies. Keep the integrity to the job and the role’s responsibility;
Qualifications
- Certification of Futures Practitioner from China Futures Association;
- Minimum 5 years of experience relating to data center administration, IT infrastructure management or equivalent in financial institutions; Previous experiences in foreign-invested financial institutions and experiences regarding IT infra establishment for start-up financial institutions is preferable;
- Familiar with relevant law, corresponding regulatory requirements with regard to futures business and IT management in PRC;
- Good professional ethics, could timely identify and report the issue or potential risks from the compliance and risk management status of the Company’s daily operations;
- Bachelor or above in Computer Science or equivalent;
- Fluent in Chinese Mandarin and English with solid written and verbal communication skills.
