We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a direct placement opportunity at a large, well-established non-profit organization for innovativeTechnology Domain Architecttolead the strategy, development, and implementation of cutting-edge content and cloud-based architectures. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our client’sPublications Division, ensuring the seamless integration ofcontent management solutions, enterprise architectures, and AI-driven innovations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience instructured content technologies,cloud infrastructure, andenterprise architecture best practices, with a strong ability tomentor teams, drive technical excellence, and influence strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Strategy & Development: Developcontent publishing strategies, enterprise architecture roadmaps, and technology frameworksto support software engineering teams
• Cloud & Infrastructure Planning: Design and overseeon-premises and cloud-basedinfrastructure solutions to ensurescalability, security, and efficiency
• Innovation & Research: Lead the evaluation and implementation ofemerging technologies, includingArtificial Intelligence, to enhance content management and software development practices
• Enterprise Governance & Standards: Participate in theEnterprise Architecture Board (EAB)and other cross-functional groups toreview, refine, and approve technical solutions
• Solution Design & Development: Support and engage insolution architecture, proof-of-concept development, and best practice implementation
• Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and supportjunior architects and engineering teams, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices
  
  

Technical Skills & Expertise

• 10+ yearsof experience instructured content technologies, includingXML, XPath, XSLT, JSON, and XSD
• 5+ yearsof experience incloud computing and containerization technologies, such asAWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Strong knowledge ofcontent management solutions, enterprise architecture frameworks, and application Design patterns
• Proven ability toevaluate and integrate new technologies, driving proof-of-concept initiatives and real-world adoption
• Exceptionalproblem-solving skillswith a proactive and analytical mindset
• Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills, with the ability toengage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience leadingarchitecture initiatives in large-scale enterprise environments
• Familiarity withAI-driven solutionsand their applications incontent management and digital publishing

Compensation & Benefits

Washington, D.C.:$144,000 - $195,000 per year

Columbus, OH:$130,000 - $176,000 per year
