Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Technical/Proposal Writer with a strong background in federal proposal writing to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. The ideal candidate will have experience crafting compelling and compliant proposals for federal government contracts, ensuring alignment with RFP, RFQ, and RFI requirements. The role involves working closely with subject matter experts, proposal managers, and business development teams to develop clear, concise, and persuasive content.

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, specifically for federal proposals.
• Proven experience in writing winning federal government proposals across various agencies.
• Strong knowledge of federal procurement processes, compliance requirements, and proposal structures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with DoD, Client, GSA, VA, or other federal agencies.
• Understanding of Shipley proposal methodology or other proposal development best practices.
• Background in IT, cybersecurity, engineering, or other technical fields related to federal contracts.
