Technical Writer (Content Writer for Juspay Academy)

Position Overview:

We're looking for a storyteller who can turn complex technical and payments concepts into compelling narratives. In this role, you should be equally comfortable diving deep into system architecture discussions and crafting engaging narratives that keep readers hooked. Your writing should make database sharding as interesting as a well-crafted feature story, while maintaining technical accuracy and depth. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and product teams to bring innovative ideas to life.

What is Juspay Academy?

Juspay Academy is a program dedicated to equipping individuals with the foundational principles needed to build reliable and scalable products. Through lessons, talks, blogs and workshops, the Academy covers a wide spectrum—from the fundamentals of digital payments to deep technology principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transform technical and fintech topics into engaging, accessible content while maintaining technical accuracy
• Conduct interviews, engage in research, and uncover interesting technological stories across the payments landscape
• Create long-form technical content including blog articles, video scripts, tutorials, deep dives, and analysis pieces
• Collaborate with Product Marketing and visual & motion graphics teams to create cohesive narratives

Qualifications:

• Strong portfolio showing both technical depth and creative writing ability
• Experience working directly with engineering teams
• Excellent interviewing and research skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

Background in technology journalism or technical blogging

• Basic coding knowledge (enough to understand and explain technical concepts)
• Experience with payment systems or fintech
• Track record of viral or highly-shared technical content
