IT Technical Writer | Atlanta, GA

Contract-to-Hire | Onsite/Hybrid Flexibility

We're looking for a skilled IT Technical Writer to join a growing End User Services team. This role will focus on improving internal documentation, cleaning up existing knowledge bases, and supporting the creation of SOPs and technical documentation across various IT resolver groups (including DevOps, Infrastructure, and Operations).

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain SOPs, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to gather and clarify requirements
• Write, edit, and standardize user guides, training materials, and IT policy documents
• Evaluate documentation tools and contribute to process improvement
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and usability of all materials
• Help establish documentation standards and best practices

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–5 years of hands-on technical writing experience, ideally in an IT environment
• Strong command of O365, Adobe Creative Suite, Visio, and other relevant tools
• Familiarity with ITIL methodologies
• Excellent written communication — must show up in resume and writing samples
• Previous experience gathering requirements (bonus if you have BA experience)
• Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset
• Assertive communicator — able to drive collaboration and meet deadlines
• Writing samples are required with your application.
