Job Summary:

As a Media and Communications cum Technical Writer Intern, you will assist in drafting clear and engaging content across both technical and media channels. Your role will include preparing product descriptions, creating technical documentation, and supporting patent-related writing efforts, all within the context of the drone industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write accurate and engaging product descriptions for websites, marketing materials, and technical brochures, highlighting the features and benefits of drone products.
• Assist in patent writing by documenting innovative features and working closely with legal and R&D teams to draft patent applications and support the intellectual property process.
• Draft and edit media content like press releases, blog posts, newsletters, and social media updates, while aligning with the company's brand and messaging.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to simplify and document complex technical processes in a user-friendly manner.
• Contribute to the creation of multimedia content, such as videos, infographics, and tutorials, to support documentation and marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Technical Writing, Journalism, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in preparing technical documents, product content, and patent drafts.
• Familiarity with Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other visual communication tools.
• Comfortable using documentation platforms and tools such as Markdown, Confluence, MS Office, or LaTeX.
• Basic understanding of drone technologies and an eagerness to learn.
• Experience in content creation, digital media, or documentation is preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.

This is a paid internship position, and the duration and schedule can be negotiated based on the candidate's availability and our project needs. Excellent performers will have the opportunity to convert to full-time.
