About The Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our dynamic Product Management team in Chennai. In this role, you will create, maintain, and manage high-quality documentation and product copy for our B2B SaaS products, ensuring that users have access to clear, concise, and helpful information. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, own the help center end-to-end, and help shape an outstanding user experience.
Responsibilities
Solution Content Creation and Management
- Create comprehensive solution articles for all existing and newly released features.
- Regularly update and maintain articles with relevant screenshots, GIFs, and infographics tailored to end-user needs.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy, relevance, and usefulness of all solution content.
- Own and manage the product help center end-to-end, structuring content for an optimal user experience.
Product Copywriting
- Write and edit UX copy for new and existing features, ensuring clarity, consistency, and user-friendliness.
- Standardise and streamline existing UX copy across the product.
- Work closely with product managers, frontend, backend, and QA teams to understand feature functionality and craft user-centric product messaging.
User Feedback Integration
- Analyse user feedback, support tickets, and usage data to continuously improve documentation and product copy based on real-world user needs.
- Emphasise empathy for users and deliver content that genuinely solves user problems.
Quality Assurance
- Proofread, edit, and fact-check all documentation to ensure quality and clarity.
- Enforce adherence to the company’s documentation style guide and help refine it as needed.
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
- Strong technical acumen to quickly grasp engineering concepts and translate them into clear, user-friendly language.
- High attention to craft, with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Deep understanding of UX writing principles, UX best practices, and design fundamentals.
- Experience with technical SEO for documentation.
- Familiarity with localisation management tools (e.g., Lokalise).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for documentation.
- Expertise in help center management tools like Zendesk, Intercom, or similar.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- High empathy for users and a passion for improving the customer experience through thoughtful communication.
