TECHNICAL WRITER

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Writer to join our team at LogistiVIEW, a leading software vendor specializing in cutting-edge solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, excellent communication skills, and a keen ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Platform Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation for our technical platform, including architecture, design, and implementation details. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to both internal and external stakeholders
• API Documentation: Create detailed API documentation that includes usage instructions, code samples, and best practices. Work closely with the development team to ensure that the documentation accurately reflects the functionality and capabilities of our APIs
• End User Documentation: Produce clear and concise end-user documentation, including user guides, tutorials, and troubleshooting manuals. Ensure that the documentation is tailored to meet the needs of our diverse user base, ranging from novice to advanced users
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and customer support, to gather information and ensure that documentation aligns with product releases and updates
• Quality Assurance: Review and edit documentation created by other team members to ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy. Implement feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve the quality of our documentation
• Content Management: Manage the documentation repository and ensure that all content is organized, searchable, and easily accessible. Utilize content management systems and tools to streamline the documentation process
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams and end users on how to utilize the documentation effectively. Conduct workshops and webinars to enhance user understanding and engagement
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience and education
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the software industry
• Strong understanding of technical concepts, including software development, APIs, and technical platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to write clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation
• Proficiency in using content management systems and documentation tools
• Experience with version control systems and collaborative writing environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
