What will you contribute?

A key player in the Fusion Invest product team, the Technical Writer will participate in the Product Development process as a member of the project team. You will ensure the completion and delivery of documentation, from planning to release, and you will perform writing and editing tasks on technical and business documentation, such as user manuals, installation manuals and release notes.

Responsibilities & Deliverables

Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Collaborating with product managers, business analysts, quality engineers, and developers to understand the product and develop high-quality documentation
• Building and maintaining working relationships with project team members and coworkers to successfully complete projects and assigned tasks within required timelines
• Reviewing documentation for structure, content, technical accuracy, and style
• Reviewing legacy documentation to ensure it keeps up with current standards and guidelines
• Analyzing customer feedback on the use of documentation and preparing, delivering, and following up with improvements
  
  

Required Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of technical writing or equivalent experience writing customer-facing software documentation
• Ability to quickly understand technical and functional concepts and present them as easily comprehensible structured documents
• Experience with single-sourcing tools (such as MadCap Flare), Microsoft Manual of Style, Jira, Confluence is a plus
