Summary

Role Summary: The Bid Writer is responsible for creating high-quality, functional responses to EOIs, SQs, RFIs, RFPs, ITTs and other associated bid documents for the Nuvolo Connected Workplace Solution. This role involves interpreting client requirements, understanding the Nuvolo Connected Workplace solutions capabilities, and articulating clear, persuasive, and technical responses that effectively position the company as a leading provider. The Bid Writer will be informed by the Sales Leader, Account Executive and Solution Consulting Team who are leading the customer engagement to understand the Bid Strategy and ensure the agreed value proposition and customer stories are incorporated into the response. The Bid Writer will collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and technical experts, to gather relevant information and develop content that meets the needs of potential clients. All content will be recorded in the Bid Response System (Responsive) allowing reuse of effective material across bids to ensure efficiency in responding to opportunities. The Bid Writer will work diligently and efficiently to ensure that written responses are completed on time, in line with customer requirements, and are aligned with company standards.

Responsibilities

  • RFP and RFI Analysis: Reviewing bid documents to understand client requirements, evaluation criteria, and deadlines.
  • Content Development: Writing and editing functional and technical content for proposals that clearly outlines the company’s software solutions and how they address client needs.
  • Research and Collaboration: Collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs), technical teams, and services teams to gather necessary information and insights to incorporate into the bid responses. Including production of project plans and supporting sales documentation.
  • Template and Document Management: Adding reusable content to improve efficiency and consistency in future bids thus driving continuous improvement of Nuvolo’s response library within the Responsive bid tool.
  • Tailoring Responses: Customizing content to align with the specific objectives and interests of each client & the defined Bid Strategy, stories, value proposition and impact statements.
  • Innovation and Strategy: Contributing ideas and suggestions to improve the bidding process and strategy, including identifying win themes and messages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Technical Writing / Communications/ English, IT Management, Information Technology or related.
  • 2+ years of experience in bid writing, technical writing, proposal coordination or sales support, preferably in an IT or software company
  • Experience in writing bids for SaaS, cloud computing, cybersecurity or enterprise software solutions would be considered a strong advantage
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and CRM Software
  • Fluency in English (C2 / C1 level or equivalent), verbal and written
