The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and writing various types of user documentation, including how-to guides, manuals, references, or instructions. This candidate should have strong communication skills which enable them to explain complicated concepts in a simple manner. This individual will also meet with customer representatives frequently in order to understand required content.

Responsibilities:

• Attend scrum meetings and actively document user help content, data dictionaries, configuration guides, and release notes
• Interview developers, architects, and consultants to extract and translate technical concepts for various audiences
• Own version control and content management for documentation repositories
• Build out best practices and select tools as needed (they’re looking for someone to lead on this)

Key Experience/Skills:

• 3–5+ years of experience in technical writing (SaaS, software, or platform environments preferred)
• Strong experience documenting APIs, system configs, and technical workflows
• Tools: Confluence, MadCap Flare, Git, CMS platforms, Microsoft Office
• Bonus: Basic understanding of SQL/JSON/cloud systems; certifications like CPTC or API Doc Certification
