Position Title: Technical Systems Product Engineer

Compensation: $105K - $115K plus quarterly company-wide bonus potential, up to 5%

Location: Onsite in Monrovia, CA

Overview:

Our client, a leading manufacturer of lasers and welding, focused on providing clients with innovation and reliable solutions, has an immediate opening for a Technical Systems Product Engineer to support sales success by providing timely, high-quality technical solutions for their Laser and System product lines. Responsibilities include Product Management, Technical Training, Sales Support, and Product Promotion, requiring extensive customer and sales team engagement. Domestic and international travel is necessary. This position demands specialized scientific knowledge, discretion, and independent judgment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Laser and System products.
• Engage with customers and sales teams to assess application needs and coordinate responses.
• Validate new products, review specifications, and recommend improvements.
• Assist with product specifications, marketing strategies, and technical materials.
• Conduct competitive product testing and analysis.
• Support seminars, workshops, trade shows, and sales meetings.
• Develop technical presentations for product launches and sales efforts.
• Offer project management assistance to Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
• Provide technical information to Customer Service.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Experience with industrial production and automation equipment.
• BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Science Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Applications.
• Strong organizational skills and customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical information.
• Ability to research and solve technical problems.
• Effective time management for short- and long-term projects.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and CAD (preferably SolidWorks).
• Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel.

• Technical background in lasers and systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask independently.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Self-motivated with a sense of ownership in responsibilities.
