Job Description

The Technical Systems Engineer Lead will be responsible for leading the technical development on the Aras innovator PLM Tool (Product Lifecycle Management). The role will partner extensively with the Global Implementation Team that executes a global PLM. Additionally, the role will develop implementation plans in coordination with stakeholders and support business case development for PLM technology projects across the divisions globally.

This position will serve our Enterprise Division, located in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid).

Responsibilities

  • Design applications that focus on removal of non-value-added activities during design, release and maintenance processes of the product lifecycle management.
  • Capture key requirements and translates the “needs” to systems/application designs.
  • Specified and executes development program units in the Aras platform. Software development tool kit around JavaScript, C#, J#, or VB.Net
  • Act as the End-to-End enhancement, development lead of ARAS, multi-CAD Integrations, Product Data / Change / Document Management, and Workflows in production environments globally
  • Perform root cause analysis, debugging problems with the Aras environment, and then provide appropriate solutions
  • Ability to co-ordinate and support any upgrade activities for Aras tool set including working with offshore development teams
  • Owns Execution of the PLM roadmap at Rheem Globally
  • Manages all applications related problems that occur, ensuring that problems are identified, prioritized, and solved as rapidly and efficiently as possible
  • Proactively assists Program Manager in defining direction for future projects
  • Supports Training and Implementation activity across Rheem globally as it relates to PLM

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in IT and development of applications
  • An innovative solution-first spirit and an ability to think creatively.
  • Experience working with integrations between ARAS and Oracle ERP or any leading ERPs
  • Experience in software development tool kits like Java, C++, C#, VB and Oracle SQL
  • Experience in Product Lifecycle Management processes.
  • Experience in the Aras Innovator platform or equivalent PLM technologies would be an advantage
  • Knowledge in writing queries in Oracle & MySQL
  • Ability to learn new skills to adapt to the changing technology landscape
  • High technical aptitude
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, engineers, business teams) and external subject matter experts
  • Passionate about building and owning innovative, customer facing services/products.
  • Great presentation and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
  • Customer service orientation and written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership Skills in managing enhancements on the global PLM roadmap

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • HVAC / Water Heating industry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates a results-based leadership style with strong impact and influencing skills.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing, quality, and design concepts in the industry
  • Strong knowledge of product certifications with HVAC industry body like AHRI (AHRI (ahrinet.org) will be a plus
  • Embraces a culture of continuous improvement.
