Summary

Lynden Incorporated is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to work as part of our SeaTac based team. In this role, you will be the face of the Lynden IT department. You will provide advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and deployments for end-user hardware, software, and IoT systems. This position is not safety sensitive.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for end-user hardware, software, and IoT systems via phone, chat, remote tools, or onsite intervention.
  • Install, image, configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, servers, printers, cameras, and mobile devices, including troubleshooting associated hardware, software, and network services.
  • Manage and prioritize escalated incidents and project tasks through ticketing and project-management systems to ensure accurate, sequenced, and compliant resolution.
  • Lift items over 25 lbs. and work in confined spaces to replace workstations, monitors, run cabling, and perform other physical tasks.
  • Document all hardware and software maintenance, troubleshooting activities, and ticket updates in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain the company’s hardware and software asset inventory, ensuring records are current and accurate.
  • Advise end users on selecting hardware and software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Stay current with developments in workstation and mobile operating systems, and internal networking practices.

What We Need From You (minimum Requirements)

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school in relevant subject.
  • Minimum of four years’ related experience; minimum 2 years’ experience as tier II technical support.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Preference If You Also Have

  • VMware/Omnissa Horizon virtual desktop infrastructure 
  • Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and/or Linux. 
  • Industrial label printers and multifunction enterprise devices 
  • IP Camera infrastructure and video management systems 
  • CompTia A+, Network+ and/or Security+ certification 

Your Work Schedule

  • The work associated with this position will be performed onsite.
      • Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm from the corporate office.
        • Every 6 weeks, 1 week in the field working Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
  • Occasional work hours outside the normal schedule may be required.
  • On call rotation: 1 week, every 3 months to support after hours and weekend calls.
