Summary

Provides on-site technical assistance in the installation, emergency maintenance, preventive maintenance, and operation of assigned equipment throughout a geographical territory. Work closely with and develop strong business relationships with the customer and client personnel Follow accepted maintenance procedures to resolve equipment problems (e.g., head replacements, various accounts e.g. Ricoh, software reloads.wet-lab and other legacy photo and print products Analyze and evaluate equipment performance Install equipment modifications as needed Install and remove equipment and systems as required Conduct informal operator training as needed to improve machine performance Complete all required reporting procedures related to the maintenance and repair of the equipment Communicate with scheduling, parts, and phone support teams to ensure complete customer satisfaction relative to service delivery and machine performance Follow escalation process and procedures as documented Ensure complete customer satisfaction relative to service delivery and machine performance Complete all administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner Meet reporting requirements associated with time reporting, expense reporting, call reporting, parts activity, company car, and other areas as required High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Technical school courses OR 3-5 years experience with servicing equipment a plus Ability to diagnose and repair equipment failures Basic computer skills Ability to communicate effectively with customers and clients in a field service environment Ability to function in an environment with daily changes in tasks and work assignment Ability to function in a high-stress environment with unscheduled interruptions Experience with daily travel that includes long distances and occasionally outside the geographical area Have a valid drivers license and proper documentation to travel when applicable A motor vehicle record in good standing Ability to work unplanned extended workdays based on business needs Maintain professional appearance based on Company policy Ability to work independently and as a team Ability to work with mobile devices ie: smartphones
