The Technical Staging Manager(TSM)’s role is to Manage the onboarding of clients into Granites Logistics & Fulfillment Center by coordinating timelines externally and internally with the Granite PMO The TSM will delegate tasks with other departments and ensure that projects and tasks are being done and completed on time. The TSM will handle multiple projects across multiple customers simultaneously while requiring little supervision. The TSM will assess solution specifications and ensure they meet customer requirements and recommend solution and process changes that optimize value for both the customer and Granite. The TSM will develop a project plan by setting proper timelines for project tasks including requirements gathering, configuration, solution testing, and production rollout.
Duties And Responsibilities
Initial Customer Onboarding
Adapt customer provided config process to Granite internal processes
Set up of physical area to work specialized config process
Establish communication methods with customer and Granites Project Management Office regarding schedule and standard communication required to complete orders
Attend and/or lead meetings directly with customer when required, typically virtual
Work through any troubleshooting or config issues that require direct involvement from customer
Ensure billing to customer is correct for the Depoting, Kitting & configuration Managed/ submitted manually through spreadsheets from fulfillment staff
When projects expand to include new equipment, additional configurations, or change existing processes in any way, the Initial Equipment Launch process is run through again to adapt to said changes
Managing the schedule day-to-day to ensure each task is completed within the timeline
Act as a point of contact for warehouse staff for questions outside of standard Granite PMO scope
Maintain broad technical knowledge that can be applied to a variety of telecom equipment
Manage initial project launch
Review customer provided config process with customer and Granite PMO, refine and build out complete internal runbook, tweak as necessary
Establish steady state communication methods with customer and Granite PMO regarding schedule and standard communication required to complete orders
Train warehouse staff on process
Manage project expansion and process changes
Managing the schedule day-to-day to ensure each task is completed within the timeline
Required Qualifications
Strong business acumen and understanding of clients’ IT related business goals and challenges to ensure proper translation of the client’s needs through to deployment
3+ years in a customer/client facing role, Logistics or Engineering or Project Management
Demonstrated and verifiable track record of prior successful customer engagements.
Experience in the development of processes from the ground up on a per client basis.
Ability to present both technical and non-technical information to broad audiences
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work in a team environment and explain process to customers
Preferred Qualifications
