Job responsibilities of a technical specialist for purchasing

Equipment And Materials For Fertilizer Production

• Analyzes the Customer's initial data (technical specifications,
  
  

questionnaires, drawings and other documentation) in order to determine its

completeness for searching for manufacturers on the market, supplements and

refines it if necessary

• Correlates the initial data with the capabilities of the
  
  

manufacturers and, if necessary, conducts technical negotiations between the

manufacturer and the Customer in order to resolve those issues.

• Together with the manufacturer, participates in the preparation
  
  

and development of design solutions, drawings according to the customer's needs

(if necessary)

• Ensures that the projects and technical documentation developed
  
  

by the manufacturer comply with the standards, specifications and other

regulatory documents on design, as well as the task for their development (if

necessary)

• Checking the drawings, technical documentation, design
  
  

documentation for compliance with the customer's requirements, supporting the

manufacture of equipment at manufacturing plants (if necessary)

• Links the design solutions, drawings, design documentation
  
  

adopted by the manufacturer with the technical task and requirements of the

customer

• Analysis of the current state of operating conditions and the
  
  

technical condition of the equipment, to identify weak points and develop

possible design improvements to the equipment

• Analysis of the existing design of the equipment, as well as the
  
  

experience of developing new design solutions and their implementation, and on

this basis, preparing proposals on the feasibility of adjusting the adopted

general and fundamental design solutions.

• Consults the customer on the characteristics/parameters of
  
  

parts, equipment materials offered and installed by the manufacturer

• Reviews and analyzes complaints and claims from the customer
  
  

regarding the quality of the supplied equipment, works them out with the

manufacturer

• Studies the causes of deterioration in product quality,
  
  

participates in the development of measures to eliminate them

• Testing of parts and materials before and during the
  
  

manufacturing of equipment at the manufacturer's site or at a third-party

organization, as well as control testing of finished equipment (I suggest

adding "if necessary", taking into account the broadness of the

concepts of "equipment", "testing" and "testing")

• Participation in conducting technical audits of manufacturing
  
  

plants

• Preparation of reports on the results of the work done for each
  
  

assigned equipment before the start of its manufacture, as well as after

conducting technical audits of manufacturing plants
