The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect with extensive experience in Retail, Footwear, and Apparel (RFA) domains. The role involves designing and implementing technical solutions using FlexPLM and related technologies while actively engaging with clients to understand their business needs. The candidate will also be responsible for system configuration, customizations, and end-to-end project lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will be customer-facing, proactive, and possess excellent technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end business solutions, including customization, event workflows, data orchestration, formulas, calculations, reports, and UI extensions.
• Configure systems, create and document configurations and work with team members to implement solutions.
• Engage with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Actively participate in requirement and process workshops, listen to client needs, and ensure clarity in requirements.
• Conduct daily/weekly customer meetings to discuss progress and gather feedback.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployments, and end-user training.
• Participate in application upgrade activities and build deployments.
• Provide end-user training and support as needed.
  
  

To Be Successful In This Role, You Should Possess

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 6 - 11 years of proven experience in RFA projects.
• Exposure to working with retailers and brands in RFA domains is mandatory.
• Strong retail business domain knowledge, including familiarity with retail business processes.
• Must be a strong coder with deep technical knowledge in Javascript and NodeJS.
• Must have a solid understanding of programming concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with any cloud platform is required; AWS is preferred but not mandatory.
• Understanding of databases is essential; experience with DynamoDB is a plus.
• Expertise in various modules of FlexPLM, Thingworx Retail Connector (TRC), and Flex Insight.
• Development and support for FlexPLM enhancements, bug fixes, change requests, workflows, reports, and root cause analysis (RCA).
• PLM to downstream integration development and system/application maintenance.
• Capable of translating client’s business requirements into technology solutions and roadmaps.
• Knowledge of Thingworx Retail Connector (TRC) and Flex Insight.
• Hands-on experience with system integrations, event workflows, and data orchestration.
• Strong documentation skills for configurations and customizations.
