Job Title: Technical Service Manager
Responsibilities
• Oversee the setup, administration, and ongoing support of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
• Deliver services in line with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and agreed timelines
• Diagnose and resolve complex system and network issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity
• Support IT project implementations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives
• Maintain operational procedures, server documentation, and IT asset inventories to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
• Provide timely support for ad-hoc IT service requests and participate in after-hours on-call support rotations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance infrastructure efficiency, security, and scalability
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to strategic IT planning
• Ensure best practices in security, backup, disaster recovery, and documentation are consistently followed
• Adapt to new technologies and evolving business requirements to foster a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management, including server administration, SAN, Windows, Linux, Hyper-V, VMware, and Veeam solutions
• Solid experience in managing routers and switches with strong troubleshooting and network optimization skills
• Proficient in PowerShell and Linux scripting for automation and system maintenance
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver under pressure
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution
• Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with virtualization technologies is an advantage
• Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or VMware are preferred
