Pay Range: $100K-$133K annually commensurate with qualifications and experience
What You Bring To The Table
As our Technical Services Manager, you'll be the go-to expert driving the implementation of cutting-edge application projects and new product introductions. Whether you're conducting hands-on field evaluations, delivering remote technical support, or providing training via telephone, your deep knowledge of yeast-leavened baking processes will be instrumental in ensuring quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
You'll also play a key role in maintaining our industry-leading database, communicating critical information to management and production teams. And when it comes to staying ahead of the curve, you'll be the one attending trade shows, summits, and continuing education courses, then sharing the latest insights that empower our customers and sales force.

What You’ll Do As a Technical Services Manager
- Provide technical support and services to all customers, new and existing
- Assist sales in gaining new business and maintaining clients through effective product application
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of product application and line extension projects
- Evaluate product improvements and new offerings through field testing
- Communicate technical information through reports and maintain the company database
- Deliver technical service and training to customers, sales, and representatives
- Help develop and design assigned projects
- Stay updated on industry baking process and ingredient changes
- Attend trade shows, summits, and continue education, sharing relevant information
- Objectively communicate useful information to management and production
- Apply expertise to make recommendations and resolve application issues
- Participate in and speak at baking organizational meetings
- Conduct practical testing of application projects and new products
- Identify new product opportunities based on market intelligence
- Adhere to all company and customer policies, including appearance and safety
- Set schedules that conform to duties and company policies
- Maintain and care for any company-provided equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Required qualifications:
- Formal baking training
- 5 or more years of practical experience
- Basic laboratory training and strong professional and technical interest in baking
- Ability to analyze baking processes, explain and demonstrate products, and make objective recommendations to correct application problems while maintaining awareness of customers’ concerns, needs, and quality expectations
- Ability to travel at least 85% of the time; must maintain a current passport and/or VISA
- Ability to work weekend and early/late hours as needed
Preferred qualifications:
- Proficiency in a second language is preferred but not required – Spanish or French
