About the Role:

We are looking for a Technical Sales / Business Development Manager with a strong background in food science or chemistry to drive the sales of specialty food ingredients in France and beyond. You will combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to help food manufacturers innovate with our functional ingredients (e.g., emulsifiers, stabilizers, natural preservatives, or texturizers).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in food manufacturing, focusing on B2B clients (e.g., bakeries, dairy, plant-based, or processed foods).
  • Provide technical guidance to customers, ensuring optimal application of ingredients in their formulations.
  • Collaborate with R&D and application teams to develop customized solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation.
  • Represent the company at food industry events, trade shows, and technical seminars.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field (MSc or PhD a plus).
  • 3+ years in technical sales or business development within specialty food ingredients (e.g., hydrocolloids, enzymes, flavors, or functional additives).
  • Deep understanding of food regulations, ingredient functionality, and formulation challenges.
  • Strong communication skills—able to translate technical concepts for commercial decision-makers.
  • Fluent in English and French; additional European languages beneficial.
