Sales: The primary responsibility of a BDE is to generate sales by promoting technical products and services to potential customers in the residential market.
Technical expertise: They need to have a strong understanding of CNC, VMC and SPM machines and their are selling, and be able to explain complex technical information to customers in a clear and concise manner.
Customer relations: They need to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
Needs assessment: They need to assess the needs of potential customers and provide tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements.
Product demonstration: They may need to provide product demonstrations to potential customers to showcase the features and benefits of the technical products or services they are selling.
Proposal development: They need to develop proposals that outline the technical products and services being offered, as well as pricing and other terms of the sale.
Market research: They need to stay up-to-date on industry trends, new product developments, and competitive offerings to stay ahead of the competition.
