We are searching for a technically astute sales professional with a strong understanding of medium voltage equipment who has commercial instincts to connect with clients in the Data Center sector.


We're working with a leading player in the electrical power systems and engineering space, known for delivering high-quality, custom solutions to clients across the utilities, industrial, and mission-critical infrastructure sectors. As their business continues to grow, they’re looking to hire a Technical Sales Engineer who can combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to support and grow their expanding client base.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical expert in medium voltage electrical equipment, supporting the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to post-installation.
  • Build strong relationships with customers in power utilities, industrial operations, and data center sectors.
  • Interpret customer specifications and requirements to develop and present tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically viable and commercially competitive.
  • Provide input into pricing strategies, proposals, and contract negotiations.


Education & Experience

  • Background in either a sales, commercial or solutions role specifically dealing with Medium Voltage equipment
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of substations, switchgears, transformers, buzz bars etc
  • Pre-existing relationships with Data Center professionals would be beneficial
  • Technical or engineering background would be beneficial, but not required
