We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales / Application Engineer for our Charlotte, NC office to serve and grow an established customer base in the Americas. The role will work closely with inside / outside sales and communicate frequently with our headquarter in Germany.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support & expertise to our customers and sales team
• Troubleshoot customers’ die or die cutting unit related problems on site and collaborate with HQ and sales team to provide solutions quickly
• Collaborate with HQ and Inside Sales to grow existing customer accounts and convert leads into customers
• Process claims and collaborate with HQ
• Understand customers' needs and identify opportunities to serve them
• Create quotes and proactively follow up with customers
• Provide technical training to our customers and the sales team
• Build and maintain knowledge of Wink’s product and service offerings and those of our competitors
• Stay informed about industry news, generate market insights and share them with key stakeholders in the company
• Potential to establish and lead a technical support organization for North America
• Domestic travel (up to 50%) with occasional international travel
• Organize and maintain information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business with 3–5 years of experience in technical, sales, or product-related roles
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy, time management, and planning abilities
• Proficient in ERP (e.g., SAP, abas), CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Team player with willingness to travel domestically and internationally
