Duties
- You will manage cross-functional project teams by collaborating closely with multiple competency areas to ensure effective communication, coordination, and optimal alignment of resources for successful project execution.
- You will oversee the entire lifecycle of technical projects, emphasizing agility and adaptability to meet project goals.
- You will work with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, developing detailed project plans that include timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
- You will conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure the viability and strategic alignment of projects.
- You will assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, and provide clear direction, guidance, and support throughout each project's lifecycle.
- You will serve as a liaison between internal teams, external partners, and customers, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a timely and professional manner to enhance project outcomes.
- You will maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- You will demonstrate knowledge of integrated warfare systems and missile defense programs such as AEGIS, SM, ESSM and others.
- You will serve as a Command Matrix Manager for your respective program.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Applying project and resource management concepts and practices to lead and ensure technical Naval combat or weapon system projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives for an organization.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
You will serve as TPM and (Matrix Manager) for one of the following sponsors/programs; (a) AEGIS Weapon Systems (IWS 1.0), (b) Sea-Based Weapons Systems (MDA), (c) Evolved Sea-Sparrow Missile Systems (IWS 12.0), (d) Surface Ship Missile Systems (IWS 3.0), (e) Fleet Readiness and Sustainment (IWS D), (f) Fleet Training & Exercises (USFF).
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
