Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to lead and manage the successful delivery of complex technical projects. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, software development life cycles, and technical concepts. The Technical Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, QA, and operations, to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end project activities, timelines, and deliverables
· Work with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and technical requirements
· Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
· Facilitate communication between engineering teams and business stakeholders
· Track progress and provide regular status reports to leadership and stakeholders
· Manage change requests and adjust project plans accordingly
· Ensure quality assurance and compliance with technical standards
· Identify and resolve project roadblocks and issues proactively
· Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives)
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
· 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a technical PM role
· Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project)
· Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to understand and translate technical concepts into actionable plans
· PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
Preferred Skills:
· Experience managing software development or IT infrastructure projects
· Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
· Background in software engineering or systems architecture
· Experience working with remote and cross-functional teams
