Job Description
Our Technical Project Managers manage large/complex customer facing projects and/or multiple smaller projects for our global clients. The role requires providing leadership to project staff including custom engineering, data scientists, digital marketing and loyalty experts to ensure flawless execution of projects ensuring that they are delivered with the highest quality, on-time, within scope and within budget. This position is based in Pune, India.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and present proposals, scope of work and final agreements
- Manage the project from start to completion including the resolution of escalated project issues
- Work with customer decision makers and relevant stakeholders to define the project charter including vision, scope, outcomes, and deliverables
- Assess project feasibility, dependencies, risks and risk mitigation strategies
- Develop a detailed project plan
- Ensure resource availability and allocation from both the customer organization and from Zinrelo.
- Coordinate internal resources and if required third party vendors for the flawless execution of projects ensuring that they are delivered with the highest quality, on-time, within scope and within budget
- Establish a communication cadence with customer and project stakeholders to provide ongoing project status. Establish escalation management paths
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Track and measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors, if necessary
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Support the continuous improvement of the PM role, processes and operations
Required Skills/Experience
- High degree of empathy and a passion to help customers
- 5+ years of experience in customer facing digital marketing projects. Exposure to loyalty
marketing is highly desirable
- Project/Program Management experience in the deployment of digital marketing programs
- Ability to understand the companies and customer’s organization, aims and processes
- Ability to communicate and negotiate with key stakeholders. A consensus builder and facilitator
who is able to prioritize and resolve conflicting demands and requirements
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working with project teams and account teams
- Experience in change control management process with a solid understanding of managing
“Triple Constraints” (Scope, Time and Budget)
- Excellent client-facing and internal written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain technical capabilities to clients
- Affinity for problem solving and crafting creative, reusable solutions.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Insightful, innovative and can adapt well to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Experience working with international clients, particularly in the USA.
- Technical expertise
○ HTML/CSS experience a plus - ability to read and understand it
○ Familiarity with one front-end programming language (Javascript)
○ Experience querying databases using SQL, Python, or other languages.
○ Experience designing and documenting integrations between applications using REST API, and webhooks
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in the computer field.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Background
- Experience and knowledge of marketing tech stack
- Professional project management training credentials and certifications such as PMP / PRINCE II is a plus
- Experience working with large enterprise customers
