Job Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in
collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation,
task scheduling, and risk management.
Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, testers, and
consultants, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their
business needs, providing status updates, and managing expectations.
Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure the
efficient use of resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, keeping stakeholders
informed of potential challenges and proactively addressing issues.
Agile/Scrum Methodology: Lead Agile or Scrum ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives),
promoting agile principles to ensure rapid and iterative delivery of project milestones.
Release Management: Oversee the coordination and execution of software releases, ensuring
smooth deployment across development, testing, and production environments, while
minimizing risks and disruptions.
Knowledge Transfer (KT) Sessions: Organize and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions across
various teams to ensure proper handover of project insights, deliverables, and best practices for
ongoing support and continuity.
Reporting and Documentation: Create comprehensive project documentation, including status
reports, project plans, risk logs, and post-project reviews.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders,
ensuring alignment with business objectives and managing any changes in project scope or
timelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in an IT services or technology-focused
environment.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and
Waterfall.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, and Asana).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), software development lifecycles, and IT
infrastructure.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with
technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience managing software releases and coordinating KT sessions is highly desirable.
PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master Certification is a plus
