Compensation:
* Hourly Salary: $15.00 to $20.00/hour

Position Summary:
The Technical Project Manager Intern will join the Office of Information Technology Services (OITS), providing project management support to the Technical Services Team. Reporting directly to the Technical Project Manager (PM), this role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing technical projects while supporting OITS services and solutions. The intern will assist with the planning, implementation, and management of internal technical projects, ensuring seamless communication between business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Technical Project Manager in managing assigned technical projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
* Contribute to the development and revision of project proposals, including objectives, technologies, timelines, staffing, and funding.
* Support the creation and maintenance of stakeholder assessments and communication management plans.
* Help establish and maintain business needs and requirements management plans.
* Work with project stakeholders to gather and validate project requirements.
* Assist in developing and updating risk management plans, risk registers, and issues logs.
* Contribute to the maintenance of the project knowledge repository and communication management plan.
* Collect, analyze, and summarize project data to prepare status reports.
* Under the direction of the TPM, develop and communicate detailed implementation specifications, including negotiating timelines and ensuring clarity for clients on expected outcomes.
* Create and maintain project management documentation with assistance from the TPM.
* Collaborate with Project and Delivery Teams to ensure client needs are met.
Required Skills:
* Written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with and work collaboratively with Agency technical teams as well as Agency leadership and business unit management when required.
* Analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry.
* Ability to adapt to change.
* Extremely organized and detail oriented.
* Good customer service skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalency and interest in Project Management and/or working toward PMP certification
Necessary Special Requirements:
* Ability to obtain and retain an OITS Security and KCJIS clearances are requirement of employment and continued employment.
