Our Client, a global Technology leader, is seeking a highly skilled and driven
Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver critical IT infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Based in Cork, this position will focus on the successful execution of Infrastructure refresh initiatives, conference room upgrades, and other enterprise IT projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Cisco technologies and project management best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning & Delivery: Independently plan, initiate, and execute IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with PMO standards and business goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectations.
- Status Tracking & Coordination: Conduct weekly project meetings, maintain and update project management tools, and follow up with cross-functional teams.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, escalate, and resolve project risks and issues to maintain project momentum.
- Reporting: Provide clear, data-driven updates and reports on project health, milestones, risks, and blockers to senior stakeholders.
Essential Technical Skills:- Strong experience with Cisco Audio/Video and Webex devices
- Familiarity with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
- Proficiency in Project Management Methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder and team engagement
- Ability to learn and adopt project tools quickly (training provided on client-specific tools)
- Solid understanding of reporting, milestone tracking, and project lifecycle management
- Proven ability to work independently and maintain a growth mindset
Desirable Skills & Attributes- Experience with Wrike project management tool
- Passion for customer and employee experience
- High emotional intelligence and professional interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor and guide cross-functional teams on PM best practices
- Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented mindset
