POSITION OVERVIEW: The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for overseeing the successful integration and implementation of our products and services. 


DivDat products and services have strong focus on Payment Processing, Payment Gateways, Digital Wallets and Utility Billing/Payment Applications. The Technical Project Manager will manage projects, programs and tasks around these products and services.


This includes managing relevant resources, setting deadlines, gathering project and technical requirements from multiple technical and business teams, creating project plans, communicating project status with clients, provide project briefings to company executives about the state of the project, ensuring projects stay on track and on budget, setting expectations and adjusting if necessary to meet new requirements. The Technical Project Manager will also assist with internal projects and other special tasks.


This role is technical in nature, where the TPM will lead technical project teams to gather software development requirements for the development, integration and implementation of our products and services. Much of the technical details are web application or web service oriented, with focus on technologies such as Microsoft Azure, C#, MS SQL, HTML5, CSS3, REST web services and Android & iOS native mobile development. The Technical Project Manager should have strong understanding of these technologies and possess the ability to manage software engineers and other technical resources around multiple projects. 


Technical Project Managers typically manage six different aspects of projects: scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates and executes project work plans, action items, project meeting notes, etc., and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. 

• Regularly collaborates with the CTO/CIO and Director of Implementations to identify resource needed.

• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects and scopes. 

• Reviews deliverables prepared by team and ensures that the project team and management has copies of documents before passing to client. 

• Effectively applies company methodology and enforces project standards. 

• Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. 

• Minimizes company exposure and risk on project. 

• Gathers and ensures all project documents are complete, current, and stored to a shared network drive. 

• Performs onsite and remote UAT testing and provides support/training documentation for client and internal needs.

• Often providing troubleshooting and analysis support for problem solving of issues.


Communication: 

• Facilitates team and client meetings effectively and regularly initiates communication of project information. 

• Holds regular status meetings with project team and clients—creating action items and follow up. 

• Keeps management and project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news. 

• Effectively communicates relevant project information to all stakeholders. 

• Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations. 

• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. 

• Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully and in a timely manner. 


Technical Understanding: 

• Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design. 

• Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures. 

• Possesses a thorough understanding of company capabilities. 

• Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements. 

• Have strong understanding of technologies such as Microsoft Azure, C#, MS SQL, HTML5, CSS3, REST web services and Android & iOS native mobile development.

• Have understating of Payment Processing, Payment Gateways, Digital Wallets and Utility Billing/Payment Applications

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure DevOps, FTP & RPD

Role Essentials:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience 

• Five Years Technical Project Management Experience or More

• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) a Plus  

• Scrum Master Experience


A Product/Project Manager possesses a minimum of five years’ experience as a Technical Product Management, ideally with a deep understanding of the bill payment and self-service kiosk industry. The following experience is also beneficial:


• Computer-literate in Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Smartsheets, Visio/Lucid Charts, HubSpot, Jira, and other related business and project management tools.

• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Methodology

• Iterative Development Methodology / Agile Methodology 

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure DevOps

• Demonstrated success defining, launching, and maintaining technical projects

• Knowledgeable on use of computer technology in the education market

• Strong knowledge of web development platforms, databases and infrastructure

• Strong knowledgeable on best in practice information security fundamentals

• Strong understanding of technologies such as Microsoft Azure, C#, MS SQL, HTML5, CSS3, REST web services and Android & iOS native mobile development.
