Technical Implementation Consultant

• Company: Identity & Access Management Software & Solutions Company (you don't need IAM experience. Interested in joining the industry!?)

• Salary: Upto €84,000, depending on experience level

• Location: Frankfurt at least once a month. Some people are in the office multiple times a week, some not, so there's an environment for everyone. 100% remote will not be suited.

Here's what they're looking for:

• You've worked on complex software projects (e.g. large enterprises, 6-12 month projects etc) for 2+ years - perhaps with an application focus? maybe as a software developer? as an implementation consultant?
• You have a technical skillset e.g. software product configuration & technical solution specification experience - (doesn't need to be IAM, any software) - API's, databases etc (really technical things your developer colleagues will do!)
• You'll be comfortable in a client facing role playing a key role on the technical side ensuring the success of implementation projects

Sole experience in project management isn't what they're looking for, you'll need to be someone with some kind of IT technical skillset to be able to create technical specifications etc, rather than coming only with project management expertise.

Technical Implementation Consultant

You'll help turn your client's needs in to reality with the successful implementation of their software / solutions in to their environments.

Some key aspects to your role:

• Develop technical specifications
• Define solutions
• Support the non-technical project managers
• Oversee configuration and testing phases
• Conduct product training to help customers understand their applications
• Project management

You'll be part of the growing German office, one of the newer locations in this international business. You can expect to have a project load between 2-4, and you'll be focussed on the DACH region where currently most of the demand is for new software & solution implementations.

Due to the complex environments their technology suits, you can expect to work with large customers (3-6k employees on average) and projects between 6-12 months on average across Government, Automotive and much more.

This Venture Capital-funded company have been established for almost 20 years in the Identity & Access Management industry providing software & solutions to to well known names internationally. There's just over 100 people in the business spread across 3 different countries, with around 20 in the German team.

The German office has been working on client projects for around 3 years, having previously been a cost centre, so things are evolving and not fully set in stone. It's very much an opportunity for someone to help influence this, and also someone who embraces that they're still on a journey.

This role is being hired because of growth; last year they hired more than 10 across their offices, and this is a key hire for their German office currently. Your immediate team is around 5 people and there's a team lead overseeing the project team, but not necessarily as a manager to you. Leadership & your colleagues are open minded people, problem solvers, people who think in solutions... and are genuinely just a nice team of people!
