Technical Project Manager
A leading provider of business mobility solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager for its IT Department, which is responsible for fleet mobility solutions and is located in Breda. The IT Delivery team in Breda supports various entities and European markets. The successful candidate will join an area with multiple agile development teams.
As a Technical Project Manager, you contribute to integrate a mission critical enterprise application (external vendor, combining systems into 1 app) that serves as a central interface between multiple systems. The application is a paid software operated in AWS EKS and utilizes Java EE (enterprise…) technology, with a significant degree of system integration across various markets. You will manage external service providers, lead topics and drive strategic improvements to the application in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
You work full time 40 hours and your position is based in Breda. Of these hours you work at least 2 days at the office in Breda (together with your colleagues).
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to assess integration requirements and create robust, scalable technical solutions.
- Regulatory management: Coordinating the implementation of legal and regulatory requirements across multiple AWS cloud instances.
- System Integration: Managing system integration across multiple AWS accounts spanning 6 retail and 4 fleet markets.
- Operational Documentation: Leading documentation efforts, including IT security concepts, operations manuals, and interface specifications.
- Process Optimization: Driving process optimization to improve workflows, performance, and the user experience.
- Security Assessment: Conducting comprehensive security assessments and implementing necessary measures.
- Vendor Management: Overseeing external vendors and ensuring delivery of high-quality, timely solutions.
- Acting as a technical advisor to product owners, identifying innovation opportunities and shaping the technology product roadmap.
- To a certain extend - Project Management: Effectively engage with cross-functional project teams. Engage with external suppliers and manage them effectively.
- Technical Management: Provide technical leadership and support for the ongoing management and maintenance of the iGrade application, which is hosted on the AWS cloud platform
What you bring
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role as a Technical Project Manager or IT consultant, preferably in the credit management or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex integration and optimization projects, with a strong understanding of enterprise-level applications and system architectures.
- Strong expertise with enterprise applications, system architectures and credit management or ERP systems integration.
- Proficient in Java EE development and AWS cloud technologies, with an ability to lead technical discussion.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical and operational challenges.
- Project management capabilities, including the ability to create detailed project plans, and coordination.
- Familiarity with AWS EKS, SOA, scripting and Database (e.g. Oracle,PostgreSQL)
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including those from different cultural backgrounds.
- Experience in creating and maintaining comprehensive operational documentation, such as IT security concepts, IT operations manuals, and interface specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, adapting communication styles and approaches to meet the needs of diverse teams and stakeholders.
- A collaborative, motivated mindset with the ability to adapt and lead in a cross functional environment.
