We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in EdTech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, excellent technical acumen, and a passion for education technology. This role will involve managing the development and implementation of our projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and educational experts. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. Ensure clear communication and alignment with all parties involved.
Technical Oversight: Oversee the technical aspects of project development, including software design, development, testing, and deployment. Ensure the use of best practices and adherence to technical standards.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure project continuity.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards. Conduct regular reviews and testing to maintain the integrity and performance of solutions.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures. Ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints and optimize resource allocation.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the EdTech industry.
Technical Skills: Strong technical background with experience in software development, system architecture, and technology integration. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, e.g., Agile, Scrum, .,
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
Certifications: Project Management Professional, PMP, or Certified ScrumMaster, CSM, certification is a plus.
