Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in EdTech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, excellent technical acumen, and a passion for education technology. This role will involve managing the development and implementation of our projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and educational experts. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. Ensure clear communication and alignment with all parties involved.
  • Technical Oversight: Oversee the technical aspects of project development, including software design, development, testing, and deployment. Ensure the use of best practices and adherence to technical standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure project continuity.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards. Conduct regular reviews and testing to maintain the integrity and performance of solutions.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures. Ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints and optimize resource allocation.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the EdTech industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical background with experience in software development, system architecture, and technology integration. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, e.g., Agile, Scrum, .,
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional, PMP, or Certified ScrumMaster, CSM, certification is a plus.
