Beyond Migration Limited is a technology consultancy company specialising in Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) technology projects. We are based in London, Canary Wharf. We are looking for a Project Consultant to join our team. Our company helps businesses deliver complex multi-business, multi-technology solutions that present technical challenges for the most talented IT staff. We run a vibrant team of consultants and engineers and are looking for another fun individual to join the team. The Role
You will have strong experience working in structured teams and experience in desktop/cloud migration projects. You will have multiple years of experience working in structured teams and demonstrable expertise in infrastructure migration projects. You will be comfortable completing activities assigned as part of leading a team or working independently, including communicating with non-technical leadership members in the company/clients.
Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted advisor to decision-makers for your assigned project for our customers.
· Provide leadership to engineers and architects on the project. Drive the account-level time technical milestones.
· Working on proposals, from concept and business benefit statements (e.g. presentations) to SoWs for the project's entire lifecycle.
· Deep dive into technologies, designs and their implementations in the various regions to develop migration strategies
· Provide advice on industry best practices and implementations in other accounts in a solution-agnostic manner.
· Continued technical project oversight of acquisition / inflight projects.
· When needed, willing to provide technical leadership during Major Incidents / Outages.
· Undertake, manage, and report on technical project work.
· Desktop Migrations from one domain to another.
· Microsoft 365 Mailbox setup and configuration.
· Windows 10/11 administration.
· SharePoint online administration.
· Microsoft Entra ID configuration (users and computers).
· Migrations - using tools such as BitTitan, SkyKick, ShareGate and ProfWiz.
· Working across several projects simultaneously.
· Endpoint management solution rollouts. (Windows, Mac, iOS and Linux)
Requirements:
Team leading and excellent verbal and written communication skills (English); additional languages will be advantageous.
· Extensive migration project experience.
· Understanding of AV platforms.
· Security principles.
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365.
· In-depth experience in Microsoft Intune / or another MDM.
· EUC (End user computing skill – In depth Knowledge of Windows 10/11).
· Good working knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID.
· Valid passport
· Willing to travel internationally for project work.
· Complete a basic DBS check.
