About the Role: Technical Project Commissioning Manager

This position will take ownership of commissioning activities from Level 2 through to Level 5, ensuring systems are tested, validated, and delivered to the highest standards. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the role includes managing commissioning schedules, coordinating with key stakeholders, and participating in design reviews to ensure operational readiness. It does not involve managing the full M&E lifecycle but focuses on the latter, critical stages of commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage commissioning activities from L2 to L5
  • Coordinate stakeholder inputs, deadlines, and documentation
  • Lead commissioning meetings and manage expectations throughout project delivery
  • Conduct design reviews and provide informed technical feedback
  • Support integrated systems testing (IST) and project handover
  • Ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are maintained

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' data centre commissioning experience
  • Background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering (M&E)
  • Proven experience managing stakeholders and attending client-facing meetings
  • Comfortable reviewing technical designs and contributing to QA/QC processes
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK
