We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with strong technical ServiceNow expertise, a product-focused mindset aligned with the Moderna Mindsets, and a passion for delivering best-in-class digital experiences. In this role, you will be the primary liaison between the business and the ServiceNow platform team, serving as the single point of contact for overall project status.

Our ServiceNow platform includes ITSM, ITOM Discovery, ITAM, and HRSD, and we are seeking a leader who will help us expand its capabilities and drive digital transformation across Moderna.

Here’s What You’ll Do

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Drive ServiceNow platform initiatives throughout the lifecycle, including technical strategy, workstream decomposition, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
  • Build strong relationships with software engineers, product managers, and key business stakeholders to ensure alignment and technical delivery.
  • Maintain an accurate roadmap of deliverables, making tactical decisions to ensure successful execution and continuous alignment with business priorities.
  • Oversee release management by coordinating bug triage, mitigating risks, and ensuring high-quality feature rollouts.
  • Translate customer and business needs into actionable technical requirements and define resource and budget needs for product success.
  • Proactively identify dependencies across functions and develop solutions to overcome technical and operational challenges.
  • Allocate tasks and responsibilities across development teams to drive successful product delivery.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and managers across teams to ensure technical consensus on product requirements.
  • Monitor ServiceNow’s upcoming releases, identifying areas of impact and driving upgrade plans to align with business needs.
  • Work closely with the product owner and development manager to ensure effective change management for upcoming product features.

Your Responsibilities Will Also Include

  • Owning and managing project status reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Tracking program risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Acting as the central point for ServiceNow platform growth, ensuring a strategic and scalable approach.
  • Leading digital transformation initiatives by ensuring the adoption of best practices within the platform.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field OR 5 years of equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience leading ServiceNow product initiatives with knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, or CSM modules.
  • 2+ years of job-related experience in data analysis, capacity planning, strategy, and risk management

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ITIL Certification.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (Pharma, Life Sciences, Biotech, or Healthcare.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow integrations, automation, and platform architecture.
  • Demonstrated success in representing the voice of the customer.
  • Demonstrated ability to channel many points of view negotiating, cultivating, and growing partnerships.
  • Strong technical abilities: experienced with modern software development practices used to build and deploy applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-growing, multidisciplinary organization.
  • End-user obsessed with a passion for solving challenges through innovative digital solutions.
  • Self-directed and self-motivated; excellent communicator and collaborator
  • Experience working in life sciences, pharma/biotech, or high-tech industries with a preference for experience in one or more of eCommerce, data/machine learning platforms, or cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience in a regulated environment
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization.
