This position within the Foundational Services One Software Engineering team represents a unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor within a fast-growing core group with a wide impact to Siemens’ overall software delivery and transformation to One Technology Company.

A successful candidate will bring deep technical and software expertise, as well as strong business acumen and customer obsession. We are looking for a technical leader who can come along side our engineers, product managers, and architects and ensure delivery of software development tooling unification across all Siemens business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• This leader will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of the One Software Engineering System project and migrations
• Work with stakeholders across Siemens to align execution on the implementation of a common developer experience with automation to increase developer productivity.
• Build delivery plans and track execution across research and development teams across multiple business units.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and build alignment to unblock delivery
• Coordinate migration efforts across Siemens to consolidate on common software development toolchain
  
  

Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of software development and experience leading the development efforts of desktop and cloud software
• Experience working with software development lifecycle tools and processes and leading consolidation efforts for large software companies
• Understanding of Generative AI in the context of developer productivity and latest patterns and practices
• Technical Program Manager experience delivering software development automation and running migration programs for adoption
• Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to drive cross organizational alignment with written documentation
• Understanding of the “people” dimension of software development and strong skills building partnership, negotiating, and leading collaboration with cross functional internal teams.

The salary range for this position is $212,400 to $382,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
