  • Guide and educate client’s Teams on best practices for mobile 1st party submissions and platform compliance, fostering consistent and repeatable release processes.
  • Mobile (i.e. Apple & Google) requirements, regulations and how-tos. Including but not limited to certification, store setup, IAP, pre-registration, build pipeline.
  • Building a clear set of sign-off tests and criteria for both submission and live game releases, digital content releases, and live-ops events and offers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to acquire all necessary materials for Apple App Store and Google Play store listings, promotional features, and sale events.
  • Support configuration and validation of 1st party and platform partner offers, including full games, IAPs, subscriptions, and related SKUs, ensuring accurate communication of platform IDs to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve submission, certification, or compliance issues; manage release notes, known issues, and documentation updates across tools and knowledge bases.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation—submission walkthroughs, technical specs, policy overviews, risk logs, and internal guides—for ongoing clarity and transparency.

Relationship Management

  • Help maintain effective, productive, and professional relationships with platform contacts at Apple and Google.
  • Stay current on mobile platform policy updates and communicate relevant changes and impacts clearly to stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and platform guidance to Game Teams across viability of technical designs, compliance, and submission readiness.
  • Continuously evaluate product quality and identify delivery risks — performing detailed technical analysis, troubleshooting complex problems, and guidance.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to shape development plans, ensuring that engineering and technology goals are viable and aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to continuously improve and maintain workflows, runbooks, and checklists based on evolving platform requirements and retrospectives.
  • Foster productive working relationships across internal disciplines and with external platform teams to ensure aligned goals and seamless execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years as a release submissions technician where you have shipped at least 4 games on mobile stores
  • 3+ years in a technical account management, developer relations, or platform operations role — in Mobile free-to-play gaming, apps, or live services
  • Hands-on experience with App Store Connect and Google Play Developer Consoles, iOS and Android APIs, SDKs, and tools across various stages of pre-release, release and post-release for mobile live-service games

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working cross-functionally across engineering, production, and external teams
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks to drive projects to completion with attention to detail and accuracy across multi-disciplinary needs through tech, localization, QA, and other dependencies
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey appropriate levels of detail for each target audience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hands-on testing of game functionality across the Android/iOS device catalog
  • Experience translating Apple and Android OS guidelines into effective 1st Party Standard test cases
