About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Program Manager with strong Business Development expertise to manage complex programs in 5G/6G wireless and AI compute chip design, systems, and firmware/software development for wireless infrastructure, and edge devices. You will manage cross-functional projects spanning systems design, chip design, firmware/software development, and system integration. As a key player, you will coordinate between engineering, product, and business teams to ensure successful execution of projects from concept to production, while identifying strategic growth opportunities and driving customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing both internal and customer-focused programs, with strong experience in business development (BD) and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Program Ownership: Lead cross-functional technical programs spanning chip design, wireless systems, AI compute, and software/firmware for wireless infrastructure and edge.
• Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables while mitigating risks in alignment with business objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across hardware, software, firmware, systems engineering, product, and marketing teams to align business goals with technology roadmaps.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear updates on program progress, risks, and dependencies to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify challenges and implement solutions to keep programs on track.
• Process Optimization: Define and refine best practices in technical program management for efficient execution.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle from concept, design, validation, and production ramp-up.
• Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities in wireless networks, AI accelerators, and semiconductor solutions.
• Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with telecom operators, OEMs, chipset vendors, hyperscalers, and AI/edge computing companies.
• Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers to understand their technical and business needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute market entry, positioning, and sales strategies for AI and wireless semiconductor products.
• Competitive Analysis: Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to refine business strategies.
• Documentation: Deliver high-quality technical documentation and presentations.

Qualifications

Education details

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management in semiconductors, AI compute, wireless (4G/5G/6G), embedded systems, or chip/system design.
• Strong understanding of chip development lifecycles, wireless protocols (Wi-Fi, 5G/6G), AI architectures, and firmware/software.
• Proven experience managing ASIC, SoC, FPGA, or embedded hardware/software programs.
• Proven track record of building strategic partnerships with OEMs, telecom operators, or hyperscalers, or semiconductor companies.
• Strong technical acumen and the ability to translate complex technology into business outcomes.
• Experience in contract negotiations, strategic alliances, and sales enablement.
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Master’s preferred).

Preferred Skills

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience with semiconductor design, testing, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with semiconductor supply chains and logistics.
• Understanding of business development in the tech or semiconductor sector.
