As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a key role within Application Platform organization, driving projects internally (and with other teams). You will be responsible to drive and coordinate major platform and cloud service initiatives with the highest degree of complexity. Your impact will be felt across the organization. You will spend a significant proportion of your time developing the capabilities of the team as a whole.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive end-to-end execution of complex technical programs across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Partner with teams across engineering, product, design, QA, business, and infrastructure to define program scope, goals, success metrics, and delivery milestones.
• Develop and maintain detailed program plans, including timelines, dependency maps, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies, identify blockers, and ensure timely delivery.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, technical deep-dives, architecture discussions, and team syncs to align execution across all stakeholders.
• Implement program governance, reporting structures, and operational best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Own and define program-level metrics/KPIs (e.g., reliability, velocity, technical debt, infrastructure stability), inspect variances, and drive data-informed decisions.
• Track and ensure technical readiness- including security, scalability, and operational health- for all production releases.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive change management, improve processes, and align programs with long-term business and platform strategies.
• Influence platform direction by identifying opportunities to improve systems, tools, and operational efficiency.
• Manage relationships with vendors, third-party service providers, and SLAs, where applicable.
• Act as the “glue” that tightly aligns fast-moving, high-velocity teams across loosely coupled domains.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, with a strong preference for cloud-based, infrastructure, or platform initiatives.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple complex programs in agile or hybrid development environments.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, and familiarity with software architecture, cloud systems, and platform engineering.
• Proven ability to drive metrics-oriented programs, define KPIs, and deliver outcomes aligned with business goals.
• Experience with engineering planning and tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Aha!, Confluence, Google Sheets).
• Skilled in stakeholder communication and executive reporting—clear, concise, and outcome-focused.
• Proficiency in change management principles and techniques to facilitate organizational change and minimize resistance.
• Experience with vendor management, contract negotiation, and SLAs is a plus.
• BS/MS degree (Computer Science or a related technical field) or equivalent level of proven professional proficiency
