Summary

Our mission at Base is to fix the power grid and enable affordable and reliable electricity for all. To do that, we are building America's Next-Generation Power Company; the first engineering-led, technology-focused, R&D-driven electricity company. We are a team of tenacious engineers, operators, and creatives who have solved hard problems and are here to do it again.

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive the planning and delivery of Base's hardware and firmware products. You'll own program schedules across multiple projects and make sure teams stay aligned and unblocked.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the details, knows how to manage risk, and has experience delivering complex, high-volume products to market.

Responsibilities:

  • Own creation, upkeep, and publishing of program schedules, across multiple projects, both internal and external.
  • Hold accountability of overall product delivery and timing.
  • Coordinate internal and external engineering work to uncover critical path, and escalate schedule risk and blocks.
  • Keep lines of communication flowing between company groups.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience bringing high volume electromechanical products with firmware to market.
  • Experience driving product design against a compliance requirement, i.e. UL, IEEE, or similar homologation.
  • Mastery of all typical office tools, willing to make a gantt chart in any program on earth.
  • Strong technical background in any engineering or physics discipline.

If you're passionate about tackling one of the most critical challenges of our time, now is the time to join us. Together, we can usher in a new era of American energy abundance by developing the hardware, software, and deployment operations that make it possible.
