Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Technical Program Manager to drive the successful execution of multiple programs within our AI research and Applied AI organization. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI research leads, Applied AI researchers, engineers, product managers, and strategists, to ensure the seamless development and deployment of cutting-edge AI technologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Program Leadership: Lead and manage multiple AI programs, including large language models (LLMs), multimodal models (speech, vision, text), AI data initiatives, and AI safety projects.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with research leads, Applied AI researchers, engineers, product managers, and strategists to define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables.
3. Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the technical aspects of AI research and development, including model training methodologies, and deployment strategies.
4. Project Planning and Execution: Create comprehensive project plans, allocate resources effectively, and track progress against milestones.
5. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
6. Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
7. Partnership Development: Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including academic institutions, industry partners, and government agencies.
8. Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of the organization's AI strategy, identifying new opportunities and emerging trends

Qualifications:

1. Advanced Degree: Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI/ML technical program management
3. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, including training methodologies, and deployment strategies.
4. Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
5. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
6. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
7. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding creative solutions to complex challenges.
