This position will be but focused on people management, departmental growth, and technical leadership. You’ll lead a talented team of specialists, drive technical excellence, and act as a key member of the local leadership team, contributing to the long-term success of the business.

What you’ll do:

• Provide specialist technical advice on products and systems related to gypsum boards and passive fire protection, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement new systems and applications to meet emerging market demands and comply with evolving fire safety regulations.
• Work closely with architects, contractors, engineering partners, and testing agencies to deliver value-driven and compliant technical solutions.
• Lead and deliver technical training and seminars for internal staff and external audiences including universities and industry professionals.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create technical content for brochures, handbooks, and publications.
• Drive product innovation through research, performance testing, and optimization of system designs.
• Represent Etex in industry bodies and working groups, helping influence standards and raise awareness of cutting-edge solutions.
• Coach and lead a team of technical specialists, guiding their development and ensuring excellence in every technical recommendation made.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven technical expertise in construction systems, ideally in Passive Fire Protection
• A passion for problem-solving and a track record of innovation in technical product development.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to coach and inspire high-performing teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluency in Dutch, with good written and spoken proficiency in English and French.
